Whitefriars is a very friendly and sociable Masonic Lodge with membership across a wide range of age groups, professions and backgrounds. We are an Emulation ritual Lodge who meet at Southgate Masonic Centre in North London and come under the Metropolitan area. The Lodge was consecrated in 1929 and we are looking forward to celebrating our centenary in 2029. If you are new to Freemasonry and are looking to find out a bit more, may we suggest that you start by looking at FAQs which will tell you a little bit about our fraternity. If you are already a Freemason and are looking to find out more about Whitefriars Lodge, please go to the ‘About’ page.
Freemasonry is about sharing a common desire for charitable support, following a high moral code and in striving to become a better person.
One of the most common misconceptions about Freemasonry – and there are many of them – is that you have to be invited to join.
Whitefriars meet four times a year on the 3rd Wednesdays in February and April and the 4th Wednesdays in September and November
